Macro Photography - Refraction Shots

Lately I started experimenting refraction shots on waterdrops with my humble camera. To obtain high standard refraction shots you require a proper DSLR camera and a macro lense. Since my camera is a compact Point & Shoot and I do not have a macro lense, I was thinking that the results would be less than average shots. But, after many experimental shots I was able to get some fantastic refraction shots. Here are some:
