Yesterday I went to Al Janadriyah Heritage and Cultural Festval, an annual cultural event, held just outside Riyadh city that attracts many who are interested in Saudi culture and heritage. This event features folk arts, music, crafts, customs and heritage from various regions of Saudi Arabia where you experience the true Saudi culture. This photo depicts an elderly Saudi craftman making yarn using a hand driven spinning wheel.
